TikTok for Millenials 2020 Tips Growth Strategy I’m also sharing how TikTok has impacted my business and the deals that I’ve closed thanks to my consistent presence on the platform and intentional, strategic outreach to potential partners. I’ve never said this about any other social media platform before, but here it goes: If your business / personal brand doesn’t get on TikTok now, you’ll regret it a year from now. There are still so many people who are held back from joining the conversation… which means opportunity for you to become a thought leader in your niche!  Don’t think TikTok is the right audience for you? Check out this article on AdWeek that eliminates any concern about TikTok audience being “too young” for your brand.

TikTok Is Growing Up, and So Are Its Users

More millennials are finding their way to the Gen Z-dominated app

“According to Comscore, which only tracks users 18 and over, the percentage of U.S.-based TikTok users age 18-24 fell from 41.1% in January to 35.3% in April, a 5.8% drop. During that same time period, the share of 25- to 34-year-olds rose from 22.4% to 27.4%, and the 35-44 demographic grew from 13.9% to 17.1%.” – AdWeek That means that more and more 24-44 year olds are becoming active users of TikTok, which represents the demographic with buying power not just for themselves, but for their entire households. More and more bloggers and Instagram content creators are choosing TikTok over Instagram as their platform of choice (including myself) – the element of discovery, the reach and video storytelling capabilities there are unparalleled, creating a whole new level of trust with your audience.
