The best Journaling reflection and intention Prompts for the New Year

These journaling prompts are designed to guide you to wrap up the year with presence, and enter into the New Year with clarity.

End of the year is a powerful time to reflect and get present to the things you learned and experienced in the past 12 months.

That said, you can do these exercises any time of the year to connect to what’s important.

Over the years I’ve tried different journaling prompts, and ended up coming up with a list of questions that work the best for me.

Copy and paste them into a note on your device, or copy them by hand and answer them in your journal.

Create a sacred space – light your favorite candle, cleanse the space with a herbal mist, and take three deep breaths.

I’m sharing my current prompts as well as one of previous year’s versions, see which ones speak to you!

I shared my own answers to these prompts in episode 181 (2021/2022) and episode 82 (2019/2020).
